Nebraska Hospice-Veteran Partnership Annual Awards
The Nebraska Hospice-Veteran Partnership (HVP) sponsors two awards on an annual basis. Recipients are recognized at the HVP annual meeting. The Medal of Honor award is given to an individual member of the Nebraska Hospice-Veteran Partnership who has demonstrated true commitment and outstanding dedication to the Hospice-Veteran Partnership. The Medal of Valor award is given to an individual, individuals or an organization that has made significant contributions to the improvement of end-of-life care for veterans in Nebraska. A Medal of Valor recipient does not need to be a member of the Nebraska Hospice-Veteran Partnership to be nominated.
Areas for consideration include, but are not limited to, leadership, education, development, media awareness, and public policy focused on veteran end-of-life issues.
To nominate someone, write in 200 words or less why the individual, individuals or organization deserves the Medal of Honor or Medal of Valor award. Please write your nomination in a manner that may be read at the HVP annual meeting awards ceremony on Oct. 15, 2010. Send completed award application to Jennifer@nehospice.org.
