No organization has a bigger impact on hospice and better end-of-life care across Nebraska than the Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association (NHPCA). With NHPCA's leadership, hospice admissions have grown by more than 80 percent since 2001; the percent of Nebraskans with advance directives has grown by 23 percent since 2003; and the voice of NHPCA is represented in key decision-making bodies including the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the National Hospice Foundation.
NHPCA's membership includes the majority of Nebraska’s hospice programs. In addition to hospices, Nebraska end-of-life coalitions and more than a dozen other statewide organizations belong to NHPCA and take a leadership role with NHPCA.
